Forensic Unit Wrap-up (in class 5/20-21)
Students are to write a 2-3 paragraph persuasive essay addressing our forensics unit "Murder of the Math Teacher". They need to imagine that they are lawyers trying to convince a judge WHO is guilty and WHY that person is guilty. They need to make sure to address all evidence, specifically the evidence that points to multiple suspects. (This may be written in a first-person story.) DUE May 21 CHIN Interactive Investigator (in class 5/15) Students were to use the worksheet to investigate a crime through the Virtual Museum website. They are to complete the entire sheet front and back. DUE May 18. INTERACTIVE INVESTIGATOR WORKSHEET Concept Map (in class 3/31 & 4/3) Students are to divide a plain sheet of white paper into 4 equal sections (Heat Transfer, Clouds, Water Cycle, and Precipitation). Each section is to have a creative heading, detailed pictures for every vocab word, and each vocabulary/supporting words defined. This was an in class completion assignment. Using the information from 1.3, students are to create a pictoral representation of the layers of the atmosphere. They are to number graph paper from 0-400 (by 10's). For each layer the need to: label it, list the depth, draw a picture to represent the purpose, and color it. Due March 17
Weather.gov Activity (in class 3/13)
Students need to complete the weather.gov activity using the sheet below. They are to research the weather for 7 provided Idaho locations. They then need to choose 2 different cities in 2 different states. When finished, they will explore the weather maps on the website. (This lab can be completed at home if you have internet.
